TYPES OF SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS OFFERED IN THE UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH 


1: Margaret Campbell Scott Scholarship - Singapore Students and other International students.

Up to ten scholarships are awarded annually to entrants (first or second year) who have achieved the best entrance qualifications in Physics.

The value of £1,000 is paid in two instalments.

No application is required for these scholarships.

2: Canada Student Financial Assistance Program - Canada Students 


The Canada Student Financial Assistance Program (CSFA Program) provides Canada Student Grants and Loans to help students pay for their post-secondary education.

The Program works in partnership with provinces and territories to deliver student aid. Funding is available to full- and part-time students that:

● are from low- and middle-income families

● have dependants

● have disabilities

Apprentices can also get help through Canada apprentice loans and apprenticeship grants.






3: Inlaks Scholarship - India Students

 
Inlaks Scholarships provide the opportunity to young people with exceptional talent in most fields to broaden their vision abroad and improve their skills to operate in society, thus making them a future vehicle of change in their environment.

Since 1976, Inlaks Shivdasani Scholarships have been granted to Indian students to read at top-rated American, UK, and European institutions in a full-time Masters, MPhil, or Doctoral programme.

We award up to USD 100,000 to cover programme tuition as well as scholars’ living expenses, healthcare, and one-way airfare. The Foundation has joint-scholarship arrangements with Imperial College, London, the Royal College of Art (RCA), London, the University of Cambridge (Cambridge Trust), Sciences Po, Paris and King’s College London (for PhD. Students*).

The Foundation gives scholarships in a variety of subjects but DOES NOT fund the following courses:

- Business and Finance
- Computer Science
- Engineering
- Fashion Design
- Film and Film Animation
- Hospitality and Tourism
- Indian Studies without Contemporary Relevance
- Management Studies (i.e. MBA)
- Medicine, Dentistry, and related therapies
- Music
- Public Health





4: SU - The Danish students' Grants and Loans Scheme - Denmark Students


Every Dane over the age of 18 is entitled to public support for his or her further education - regardless of social standing.

The support is awarded by the State Educational Grant and Loan Scheme ("SU" and "SU-lÃ¥n"), a system managed by the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science (Uddannelses- og Forskningsstyrelsen) in collaboration with the educational institutions and under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science
