University of Nottingham Scholarships are grouped as follows.

1, Africa Undergraduate Excellence Award

The Africa Undergraduate Excellence Award is the University of Nottingham’s scholarship award, designed to support international students who have achieved academic excellence and show true passion for their chosen field of study. We're offering scholarships for high-achieving international students who live in Africa, covering £2,000 to £6,000 towards tuition fees in the first year of the chosen degree course.


Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

> Be domiciled in any African country

> Be classed as an 'overseas' student for tuition fee purposes

> Hold an offer to begin any full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Nottingham in September 2024

Scholarships will be awarded after assessing all scholarship applications. We will contact you in early June 2024 to confirm the outcome of your application.

In some cases students are eligible to apply for more than one University of Nottingham award.  Very occasionally students may be offered the Undergraduate Excellence Award  alongside a scholarship from their Academic School, or a Sporting award. To maximise the reach of University's Scholarships offering, we aim not to double award, but in exceptional cases this may be possible where the combined total does not exceed 100% of tuition fees.

If you are awarded this scholarship, it will be deducted from the tuition fees charged to you as a student at the University of Nottingham. We will not pay tuition fee scholarships to you directly.


2, Americas Undergraduate Excellence Award

The Americas Undergraduate Excellence Award is the University of Nottingham’s scholarship award, designed to support international students who have achieved academic excellence and show true passion for their chosen field of study. We're offering scholarships for high-achieving international students who live in the Americas, covering £2,000 towards tuition fees in the first year of the chosen degree course.


Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

> Be domiciled in any country or territory of the Americas (including North, Central and South America, Greenland, the Caribbean and all other islands of the Americas)

> Be classed as an 'overseas' student for tuition fee purposes

> Hold an offer to begin any full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Nottingham in September 2024

We're offering scholarships for high-achieving international students who live in countries across Southeast Asia, Australasia and the South Pacific region, covering £2,000 to £6,000 towards tuition fees in the first year of the chosen degree course.


Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

> Be domiciled in an ASEAN member nation or an eligible country in Oceania (listed below)

> Be classed as an 'overseas' student for tuition fee purposes

> Hold an offer to begin any full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Nottingham in September 2024.

The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Undergraduate Excellence Award is the University of Nottingham’s scholarship award, designed to support international students who have achieved academic excellence and show true passion for their chosen field of study. We're offering scholarships for high-achieving international students who live in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and neighbouring countries in Central Asia, covering £2,000 towards tuition fees in the first year of the chosen degree course.


Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

We're offering scholarships for high-achieving international students who live in Japan, Hong Kong or South Korea, covering £2,000 to £6,000 towards tuition fees in the first year of the chosen degree course.

> Be domiciled in Hong Kong, Japan, Macao or South Korea.

When applying for the Japan, Hong Kong, Macao and South Korea Undergraduate Excellence Award, Hong Kong nationals living in Hong Kong will also be automatically considered for the Hong Kong Alumni Scholarship covering £5,000 towards tuition fees.


6, Europe Undergraduate Excellence Award

The Europe Undergraduate Excellence Award is the University of Nottingham’s scholarship award, designed to support international students who have achieved academic excellence and show true passion for their chosen field of study. We're offering scholarships for high-achieving international students who live in Europe, covering £6,000 towards tuition fees in the first year of the chosen degree course.

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

> Be classed as an 'overseas' student for tuition fee purposes

> Be domiciled in Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lankabe classed as an 'overseas' student for tuition fee purposes

> Hold an offer to begin any full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Nottingham in September 2024

We're offering scholarships for high-achieving international students who are currently living in the UK, covering £2,000 towards tuition fees in the first year of the chosen degree course.


Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

> Be currently studying high school or college level qualifications within the UK

> Be classed as an 'overseas' student for tuition fee purposes

> Hold an offer to begin any full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Nottingham in September 2024

You must apply for an undergraduate degree course at the University of Nottingham and receive an offer of study before you can apply for this scholarship.

If you are awarded this scholarship, it will be deducted from the tuition fees charged to you as a student at the University of Nottingham. We will not pay tuition fee scholarships to you directly.


10, Undergraduate International Partnership Excellence Award

The Undergraduate International Partnership Excellence Award is a scholarship award, designed to support international partnership students who have achieved academic excellence and show true passion for their chosen field of study. We are offering scholarships for high-achieving international students currently studying at partner institutions, covering £5,000 towards tuition fees for the first year of your chosen undergraduate degree course at the University of Nottingham UK.

Deadline for applications: 10 May 2024


Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship, you must:

> Be studying at a partner university of the University of Nottingham

> Be classed as an 'overseas' student for tuition fee purposes

> Hold an offer to begin a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of Nottingham UK in September 2023 as part of a teaching partnership programme with your home university
