Nike Korea is one of the most dynamic marketplace and has the strongest position generating consecutive double-digit growths. To support future growth and to create a more consistent seamless consumer experience for digital, Nike Korea Operations and Logistics launch the Korea Network Strategy (KNS) program to enable evolution in the current fulfillment network, including capacity expansion/capability innovation in two of our current distribution centers and building a new large scale greenfield distribution center to support the Korea business growth in digital.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR


We are looking for a Manager for the Korea Network Strategy Project Management Office (PMO). PMO plays a critical role in fostering collaboration across the value chain. As a Manager of PMO in the KNS program, you will play a significant role in supporting that vision.

In this position, you will handle projects and support all aspects of program management within the KNS program. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams in Nike and Vendors to plan, supervise, and deliver successful facility launches and transitions from existing facilities.

You are to bring project management knowledge and show success in applying the techniques of planning and facilitating during the journey. You will also be required to communicate information in a transparent manner to diverse program members and be able to translate complex business requirements into useful information and data strategy.

The position requires mobility, as it may involve working at various locations when required - mainly at the Nike Seoul office, and Nike Icheon DC, but also required to be at the different locations, based on the business requirements.


WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will provide planning and ensure accountability for the effective timely delivery of objectives for the multiple phases of the KNS program with functional leaders. These phases include business case development for approval, capacity expansion and service elevation with the current fulfillment network, third-party logistics contract extension, simple/scalable Distribution Center (DC) process design with lean concept, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) automation, warehouse management system integration, test coordination and report out to stakeholders. You are also responsible for identifying opportunities to improve team performance while ensuring quality and consistency of team execution against Nike standard program phases and initiatives.

In addition, you will perform detailed business analysis to identify root causes for progress gaps and issues and own KNS program communication and be an intermediary between Leadership in Korea, Asia Pacific Latin America region (APLA) Global and vendors (MHE, system, and real estate developers including external consultants).


WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Reporting directly to the KNS Program Director, you will gain a wide variety of exposure in this role by partnering with cross-functional teams in Nike Korea, APLA, Global, third-party logistics providers, and vendors.


WHAT YOU BRING

> Bachelor or master’s degree and a minimum of five years relevant work experience (A master’s degree in a related field or Consulting background is preferred but not mandatory)

> Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English as an experienced presenter and group facilitator.

> Act as a conduit that connects territories, APLA, and Global partners. Promote and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders

> Demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate with senior leaders, managers, and team members with exceptional listening skills with proven presentation and facilitation skills, including high-profile, executive communications

> High tolerance for ambiguity

> Experience with distribution center operations for digital and transitions (including launching a new distribution center) is preferred but not mandatory
