Who we're looking for
Toyota’s OneTech Service Parts Team is looking for a highly motivated, hands-on, learning-focused individual. The team supports the Service Parts Supply Chain department involving the Part Centers and Part Distribution Centers warehouses and the systems that enable them.
The DevOps Senior Analyst will play a key role in the Incident Management process, to ensure our business customers aren’t overly impacted due to system-related issues, as well as be involved in the Change Management & Problem Management processes. The DevOps Senior Analyst will lend their expertise to new projects that are part of the Service Parts portfolio and support all core systems.
This individual will collaborate with company customers, staff members, OneTech colleagues, business partners, and other stakeholders. Must demonstrate strong initiative, relationship-building, and influential communication skills in addition to applying the Toyota Way principles. ill support Parts Distribution and Accessory Development’s (PDAD) vision to provide the right products and services at the right time and place, contributing to an extraordinary ownership experience and Toyota’s success.
What you'll be doing
• SME / Lead for Part Centers/Parts Distribution Centers mission-critical applications, WMS (Warehouse Mgmt. System), WLP (Workload Planning), YMS (Yard Mgmt. System), and Connectship, responsible for design, development, integration, code review and implementations.
• Focus on application design, integration, cloud migration/modernization, and vendor code quality.
• Lead new technology implementations & integrations within the Service Parts fulfillment team, AGV (automated guided vehicles/rack automation (Goods to Person), Co-Bots at a PDC with expansion to other PDCs (Parts Distribution Centers), and Tugger automation at Part Centers.
• Partner with Vendor to lead development on project and enhancement backlogs.
• Lead for problem & incident management, including daily ticket monitoring & health check reviews.
• Identify best practices (used in other organizations or in Toyota) and implement them to solve problems and address challenges effectively.
• Encourage & coach the team on the Scrum framework, including backlog management.
• Monitor and optimize the cloud implementation for technical and cost efficiencies.
What you bring
• A bachelor’s (degree or higher) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on development experience, specifically cloud and legacy application modernizations.
• Knowledge and experience with progressive technology solutions including DevOps, cloud computing, micro-services, intelligent automation (Warehouse automation, RPA), big data, and analytics.
• Experience using business and technical skills to build business solutions to best support business vision and strategy.
• Demonstrated functional work experience in the related area/s.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate, influence, and persuade others.
• Ability to successfully manage several projects simultaneously while balancing the workload and constraints of each.
• Progressive years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working within and across distributed development teams.
• Experience with the Scrum framework.
• Experience with business and system analysis.
Added bonus if you have
• Detailed knowledge and experience with technologies and methodologies deployed within the Automotive Supply Chain.
• Business knowledge of the related industry and warehouse management development experience.
• AS400/Mainframe knowledge/experience
• Knowledgeable in SOX controls and associated audit procedures.
