1. WYNWOOD WALLS
Is an incredibly vibrant area about 10 minutes from the city centre and is famous for its sprawling streets of technicolor murals this area is great if you're looking for a fun area to explore on foot and just take in all the countless area installations that line Lynwood's streets.
There is a great coffee shop called panther coffee in the area that you absolutely should check out if you're looking to sip on a tasty drink while you wander these beautiful streets.
And while this area is fun and safe during the day it can get slightly more dangerous at night so it's best visit in the morning and afternoon.
I sure you will enjoy all of the awesome artwork, it's really cool because each one is pretty different, there's definitely themes that run through some of the murals that connect them together definitely cool to check.
2. MIAMI BEACH BOARDWALK.
Second thing you need to do when visiting Miami is to visit the Miami beach boardwalk believe it or not Miami and beach are two separate cities each with their own architecture and unique culture. You can get to Miami for a little over two dollars each way this is a fast and affordable way to get to the island of Miami Beach.

Once here you'll have to take a stroll up and down the famous Miami Beach boardwalk this walkway runs nearly 8 miles along Miami beach's ocean front and we recommend starting on 5th street and walking down towards 23rd street this enables you to fully take in all the pretty palms.
And public areas that makes up Miami Beach this is such a lively place with volleyball courts and outdoor gyms, where you can lift weights or at least watch locals lift puppies seriously how cute is this anyways.
A long the walkway are plenty of cut-ins for you to walk onto the amazing white sand beaches. Miami Beach is known for if you're looking for somewhere to put on your bathing suit.
There are public restrooms at 6th street and 14th street where you can change into beach outfits. The beaches are immaculate with great sand, there areas where you can rent chairs umbrellas or a daybed.
If that's something that interests you or you can just lay down on a towel and enjoy.
3. MIAMI BEACH ART DECO DISTRICT.
Miami beach's Art Deco district spanning between 5th and 23rd street of Miami Beach is home to some of the nation's most iconic beachfront buildings all in the Art Deco style, you can see many of those buildings while walking the Miami Beach boardwalk it really does add an incredible class atmosphere to the whole area.
And while it's great to check out these beautiful Art Deco during the day we highly highly recommend making a point to check them out at night as well, each of these buildings have incredible lights that make the iconic Art Deco features on each of these buildings.
This is a great spot to find dinner or drinks as many of these amazing buildings are actually restaurants and bars.
4. AUTHENTIC CUBAN FOOD.
In Miam there is some authentic cuban food Cuba has a different food culture and trying some cuban American food is an absolute must when visiting Miami. One of these delicious food items you need to try is the Cuban sandwich.
And their steak sandwich and the cutest little French fries I sure you will enjoy it.

5. LITTLE HAVANA.
Little Havana is a lovely neighbourhood in the heart of Miami that captures all the amazing aspects of cuban American culture. In little Havana expect to see many cuban restaurants cigar shops ice cream parlous and live music. We heard some great music being played in some of the restaurants and even if you don't stop in for a meal.
It's certainly worth walking by to hear some great cuban music sound even if you aren'r into cigar or looking for a bite to eat it's a great place just to walk around and see some of the cool buildings with an upbeat atmosphere.

6. DOMINO PARK.
Domino park is a lovely gathering place in the centre of little Havana for locals to socialise and play with each other on outdoor domino tables this is pretty unique, while visitors are encourage to watch in order to actually play dominos here.
You actually need to be a member of the park membership is free to anyone over 50 which creates a great gathering space for the elders of the community to meet and socialise in a fun loving atmosphere.
7. AUTHENTIC CUBAN COFFEE.
Unlike a traditional American coffee that comes in big size, traditional cuban coffee is served in smaller portions cuban coffee is strong and sweet and is something that you need to try you can find this served all over the city.
But there is a great coffee shops in little Havana, you should check out while in the area.
8. AIRBOAT IN THE EVERGLADES.
Everglades national park is one of the largest wetlands in the world and is home to some incredible wildlife that isn't found anywhere else on earth the everglades is less than hour from the heart of Miami. And there are plenty of places for airboat tours

Airboat can reach some seriously impressive speeds, turning is a blast since the boat drifts as it turns, since the airboat is flat bottomed it's capable of going over sections of the everglades that are incredibly shallow or even above water, while on the tour expect to see wild birds.
And even some wild alligators along the way most tour guides are great at finding where these animals like to hide and it's a great way to see some nature and escape the city for a few hours of visiting Miami.
One thing to note is alligators tend to go underwater for some of the peak sun hours during the day so if you want to see alligator you need airboat tour earlier in the day or later in the afternoon, The park is a better place to see some of these crazy creatures.
9. RENT CITI BIKES.
Citi bikes are rentable bicycles that are open to the public that you rent by hour, they're a fun and affordable way to explore the city the Miami Beach area in particular has some nice bike lanes for you to explore. So definitely use these for a quick and easy way to explore Miami.
10. BAYSIDE MALL.
Bayside Mall is located along the waterfront in downtown Miami and is an incredibly lovely area along bayside area, where you can find a lots of shops and restaurants, to explore as well as opportunities for live music and cool scenery
This place is great to check out as a tourist because it has so many different options in one place. There is something here for everyone.
