Open rank scientist Position:

Bioanalytical scientist, large molecule bioanalysis by immunoassay and relevant technologies

 HOW TO WRITE GOOD JOB RESUME

Responsibility:

The position will take responsibility in various project support, representing DTC Bioanalysis department in pipeline projects as an expert within immunoassay bioanalysis. He/she will provide bioanalysis support to research projects to help guide and ensure selection and development of drug candidates with desired ADME properties. Moreover, he/she will be expected to contribute to maturing and advancing scientific ideas into drug development projects within different therapeutic areas of Novo Nordisk. Specific responsibilities include:

•    Develop and qualify 1) pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) bioanalytical methods for pipeline projects; 2) bioanalytical methods for early target discovery.

•    Ensure bioanalysis data quality and communicate data to project teams efficiently. Be a proactive contributor and collaborator within project team

•    Mentor research associates for timely and high quality data delivery

•    Drive technology innovation by evaluation and implementation of cutting-edge bioanalytical technologies.

•    Closely collaborate with colleagues both in Beijing and in NN global sites and maintain strong internal and external network.

 

Qualifications:

•    Ph.D. in biology, immunology, chemistry, or a relevant scientific discipline.

•    Minimum 2-4 years of practical experience from biopharmaceutical industry.

•    A good understanding of the molecular/cellular basis in relation to chronic metabolic disorders such as diabetes, obesity, CVD, CKD and NASH.

•    Expertise in immunoassay/ligand binding assay techniques (e.g., MSD, AlphaLISA, ELISA, Gyrolab, SIMOA, or other technology platforms) for biotherapeutic quantification in complex biological matrices.

•    Experience with PCR based assays is a plus.

•    Experience with automation technologies preferred.

•    Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate complex bioanalysis data.

•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

•    Fluent in English.
